May I take photos? Great question! No, please refrain from taking photos. If you would like a photo of a particular piece of artwork we will gladly send the image to you via email.
How can I contact the artist(s)? Many of the artists provide promotional materials. The Select artists are listed in the TFAF catalog which is distributed through the Show. Many of the Open artists provide bio information that we compile in a notebook.
What is the difference between the Select and the Open? The main distinction is the artists have chosen to be juried into the Show. The Select is open to all artists who have resided in Taos County for a minimum of three years.
Where do the proceeds from the Taos Fall Arts Festival go? The proceeds go to keep the annual TFAF show going, artists’ awards, and giving back to youth art programs in Taos County.
Why do so many artists come to Taos? Taos is legendary for the land, light, and the legends.
How do I get my purchased art home? Artwork may be picked up after the show on Monday, October 8th. Artwork may be shipped at the buyer’s expense.
Is there a cost to view the Show? No, the admission is free!
What are the hours? We are open at 10 a.m. and close promptly at 5 p.m.
Do the artists give demonstrations? Yes, we have a core of artists who volunteer their time and talent. Generally, we have artists who demonstrate from 10:30-12:30 and 1:30-3:30.
